Frequently Asked Questions

What does the RTC do?
The RTC (Rotary Touch Controller) is a wireless remote control and monitoring display for WVC-PRO and WVC-LITE base stations. It provides volume control, system health monitoring, and settings management from anywhere in your vehicle on a circular AMOLED touchscreen with a rotary encoder.
Which base stations work with the RTC?
WVC-PRO, WVC-PRO 6, WVC, and WVC-LITE. Full feature set (audio visualization, temperature monitoring, all IDS modes) is available with WVC-PRO. Core features (volume, voltage, basic IDS) work with WVC and WVC-LITE.
How does the RTC connect to my system?
Over a dedicated wireless AuralSync mesh link to your base station. No Bluetooth, no phone, and no WiFi are required for normal operation. Encryption is always on. WiFi is used only for firmware updates.
Can the RTC display FFT and oscilloscope views?
Yes, when paired with a WVC-PRO base station. The RTC shows live FFT spectrum analysis and oscilloscope waveforms on its display, in addition to voltage, temperature, and signal quality monitoring.
Where can I mount the RTC?
The RTC includes three mounting options: a gauge pod for dashboard mounting, a flush mount with nut and set screw for flat panels, and a 52mm gauge adapter for A-pillar or standard gauge pod installation. Wiring uses 12V constant, ground, and remote turn-on.
