To minimize disruption and protect LF Audio's future, we made the difficult decision to immediately suspend our dealer program and postpone new product launches. These proactive measures allowed us to navigate this evolving landscape with agility while safeguarding our core operations.
Navigating Change with Determination
In recent days, LF Audio, like most manufacturers, has faced significant challenges due to policy changes affecting our manufacturing processes. Moving Manufacturing In-House
After months of research into Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) in the U.S., South Korea, and Canada, as well as evaluating production, shipping, and IP protection risks, we have chosen to bring all PCB manufacturing and assembly in-house. Our nearly completed electronics lab will soon be equipped with advanced machinery, including pick-and-place machines, stencil printers, reflow ovens, and milling machines.This strategic move ensures complete local control over our production processes, eliminates the risk of IP leakage, and allows us to optimize manufacturing in real-time.
Our dedicated full-time employee will receive training to operate these machines, enabling us to resume production of key products such as the HPVM, HPVM-PRO, WVC-LITE, WVC, and WVC-PRO as soon as possible.

We are committed to keeping our community informed and setting realistic expectations as we transition to in-house manufacturing. Here’s what you can expect:
- Slight Price Adjustments: While U.S. labor rates are higher, savings on shipping and locally sourced parts (like Texas Instruments and Bourns components) will offset some costs.
- Initial Production Delays: Our production volume may initially decrease as we optimize our new processes.
- Potential Job Creation: As our in-house operation grows, we hope to create more local employment opportunities.
- Faster Product Development: With local prototyping capabilities, we can iterate and innovate more rapidly, reducing the time between concept and production.
