Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between WVC-LITE and WVC-PRO?
WVC-PRO adds Remote Out with the Intelligent Drive System (automatic amp shutdown on voltage drop or overtemp), temperature monitoring via thermocouple probes, FFT and oscilloscope views through the RTC, competition mode, and RCA gain control. WVC-LITE covers core volume and voltage monitoring. Both support Smart Home / Matter integration with firmware 3.9.0 or later.
How does WVC-LITE's signal quality compare to competitors?
In independent third-party testing with a Quant Asylum QA403 analyzer, the WVC-LITE measured approximately 0.0005% THD+N at low frequencies, roughly 3.5 times lower than the Amp Lab competitor and 7 times lower than the Basshead Garage unit.
How many channels does the WVC-LITE support?
WVC-LITE is available in 2-channel and 6-channel versions. The 6-channel version supports up to six independent zones.
What knob options are available for WVC-LITE?
Single encoder, dual encoder, concentric dual (stacked), and quad (dual stacked concentric) configurations. Mix and match based on how many zones you need to control.
Does WVC-LITE support Google Home, Alexa, or Apple Home?
Yes. All WVC models (WVC, WVC-LITE, and WVC-PRO) support Home Mode with the Matter protocol on firmware 3.9.0 or later. Pair your WVC with Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Apple Home, or any Matter-compatible smart home app via the AuralSync app.

Why use a wireless bass knob?

In general, we believe that traditional bass knobs with long RCA runs hurt your system, regardless of manufacturer. Yes, there are quality differences between brands, but the fundamentals are the same. They're all fighting the same uphill battle.

Traditional knobs sit inline with your RCA cables between the source and amplifier. That means your audio signal is running 15-20 feet through the car, picking up noise from the alternator, ignition system, fuel pump, and whatever else is along the way.

Even quality shielded cables, or the RJ11 style knobs that come with your amplifier, can't fully stop it (we've shown this in test videos). And the longer that run, the better your chances of noise creeping in.

Then the signal passes through a mechanical potentiometer. It works fine at first, but those contacts wear out over time as you twist and turn the knob. You start getting scratchy adjustments, channel imbalance (yes, one side can wear out faster than the other), and intermittent cuts. Temperature swings speed that process up as materials expand and contract. We've all dealt with it.

This is why we built what we believe is a superior bass knob, the WVC (Wireless Volume Controller).

The audio signal cable stays short and controlled right at the amplifier. The wireless knob only sends control data, not audio, so interference never touches your music.

We also use the best available components on the market, which adds real functionality. The WVC doubles as a line driver, delivers 0.00045% THD+N, and 110dB SNR. Compare that to your noisy RCA bass knob that's been picking up EMI the whole time.

No pots to wear out. No cables picking up noise. No compromise.
