WVC Knob Protective Case Mount (Dual Encoder)

I left a comment similar to this on my review of the WVC-PRO. With such great products I would think that LF could do much better. These are 3D printed, which is fine, but they are not smooth like a molded plastic would be and so they fit rough. It is hard to get the controller into and out of the case.

These would obviously not do well under extreme high temps and I can see them getting soft on a 100F+ day here in OK if the truck windows are up. I would prefer a different option, such as a rubber case for the controller and better designed magnetic holder. They could charge $100 for a milled out aluminum holder that comes with a rubber case and magnets embedded in the bottom...it would sell out, just saying.

The magnetic mount has virtually no magnetism at all. I have a steel protector in the center of the dash, it already holds a magnetic phone holder, and tablet holder, which both work flawlessly, but the LF Audio magnetic holder will barely stick to the metal. The magnets are on the inside of the holder and are just not strong enough to handle the weight of the controller being in the holder. It slides and falls off easily. I super glued two large round magnets on the bottom of the holder and now it works great.

With all that said, I do love LF products. They are top quality, that is why I am so disappointed about the mounts; LF should do better to make these on par with their other amazing products.

Fits the dual encoder like a glove. Highly recommend.
